"Nettle and Bindweed" is a monotype that captures the essence of summer's arrival. The scent of nettles is one of my favorite first smells of the season, a reminder of long, warm days. In this piece, the nettles are woven with the delicate beauty of bindweed blooms, their tendrils joyfully intertwining. I wanted to capture how these plants grow together—wild, resilient, and beautiful in their own way. The monotype process allows for a unique, one-of-a-kind impression, much like the fleeting yet vivid experience of a summer day spent among these wild companions.
